Governor Bala Mohammed has built 2,500 dwelling units in Bauchi State to address the state’s housing shortage
Senator Bala A. Mohammed, the Executive Governor of Bauchi State, has built 2,500 housing units across the state in order to address the state’s housing shortfall.
The newly completed residences in six (6) emirates of Bauchi State are the first phase of the peoples governor’s enormous housing program in the state.
In Bauchi Metropolis, the state capital, 1,000 housing units were built to solve a housing shortage among inhabitants and a growing influx of migrants from other Northeastern states beset by security concerns.
350 units were built at Azare town, the headquarters of Katagum Local Government Area, to provide relief to residents of the state’s second most powerful LGA.
For the sake of the towns’ rising populations, the LGAs of Misau and Ningi each have 250 and 200 units, respectively.
The Dass and Jama’are Local Government Areas were both beautified with 100 units each to house low-income individuals.
Governor Bala A. Mohammed assured everyone that the houses will be distributed equally among political parties, government officials, merchants, farmers, traditional leaders, and others without any discrimination.
The people’s governor will build thousands of housing units throughout various LGAs in Bauchi State in the second phase of the program, allowing low-income families to buy homes and alleviating the state’s housing scarcity.
To the delight and amazement of Bauchi State residents and visitors, Kauran Bauchi, as he is well called, is actually altering and reinventing every area in the state.
