“Wande Coal Let Me Sleep In His Room When I Was Homeless, He Supported Me” – Wizkid Reveals
Wizkid, a Grammy winner, has described how his senior colleague Wande Coal provided him with a place to sleep when he had nowhere else to go.
Wande Coal, he claims, accommodated him at some point in his life when he was still a struggling singer.
Wizkid made the announcement during a recent performance in Lagos at the Flytime Music Festival.
While openly expressing his gratitude to Wande Coal, he also stressed how special he is.
He stated, after thrilling the crowd with Wande Coal’s latest single ‘you bad,’
“I remember when I was making my first single, Holla at your boy, Tease me, Don’t Dull, Wande Coal was always there for me mehn.
He let me sleep in his room when I had nowhere to go. I just want to say a big thank you to that guy, that’s a very special human being.”
